Hotel Nelligan truly feels like a home away from home. the charm of Old Montreal just adds to its allure. The rooms are lovely with great amenities, but the noise from the street was sometimes disruptive. The service was excellent, though I felt it could get a bit overwhelmed during peak hours.

My Superior King Room was spacious, and I loved the charming exposed brick and cozy fireplace. It was in a quiet corner, but there were moments of noise that crept in from the hallway.

From the valet to the reception staff, everyone was friendly and accommodating. They even upgraded my room, which was a lovely surprise. However, I did notice they seemed a bit overwhelmed during my stay.

The location is absolutely perfect. I could easily explore the enchanting streets of Old Montreal, plus there are plenty of great cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

The dining options were good, though I found the continental breakfast pricey for what was offered. I enjoyed the omelette at the rooftop bar, which had a good view.

Facilities like room service and valet parking made my stay comfortable and hassle-free. though I would have appreciated more detailed recommendations about nearby bars.

My stay at Hotel Nelligan was overall wonderful, with an amazing staff and a prime location in Old Montreal. The room was good, though I did have a bit of trouble with noise at night due to the rooftop bar above. The attention to detail in the service truly elevated my experience, although the dining could use some improvement. All things considered, this boutique hotel is a fantastic choice for exploring the city.

Rooms

While the breakfast was generous with quality products, I found the dining experience a bit lacking in variety. The room service could also use some improvement based on my short experience there.

My stay at Hotel Nelligan was truly good. The charm of old-world architecture blended beautifully with modern amenities. The location in Old Montreal made exploring the city a breeze, although I did face some challenges with navigation upon arrival due to construction. Overall, the warmth of the staff and the lovely ambiance of the hotel made for a nice experience.

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Nelligan, where the location is unbeatable, nestled in the heart of Old Montreal. The staff truly made my experience special with their attentive service. However, I did encounter some minor maintenance issues that detracted from an otherwise perfect visit.

My king superior room was spacious and well-maintained, complete with a jetted tub. I loved the exposed brick, large windows, and cozy seating. Noise was minimal thanks to thick walls, making for a comfortable sleep experience.

6.6/10

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Nelligan during my stay. The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of Old Montreal and close to many attractions. However, I encountered some issues with noise and room smells that dampened my stay. The service was generally professional, but I felt certain aspects fell short of a true boutique experience worthy of its rating.

Rooms
6.0
I stayed in a petite suite, which was spacious but situated at the back of the hotel, above kitchens, leading to an unpleasant smell. I later moved to a smaller room in the atrium that was actually nicer but still lacked lighting.
Service
6.0
The staff were generally friendly and professional, though I felt the service could have been more attentive and accommodating regarding room changes.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is superb, just steps away from Notre-Dame Basilica and surrounded by charming streets filled with shops and restaurants.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were decent, with good food, but not excellent considering the price. I enjoyed the steakhouse and breakfast cafe, but I felt there was a lack of creativity in the menu.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities included valet parking and room service, but I had issues with a leaking mini fridge that needed to be addressed during my stay.
